English Translation

What is the difference in connotation between these three suggestions:

= Why don’t you eat vegetables? = You should eat more vegetables. ==> criticism/advice in a preachy tone
= 1) Would you like some vegetables? = I am happy to serve some vegetables for you if you wish. ==> polite offering/suggestion; or 2) How about vegetables? / **Do vegetables work for you? = There are several options you may choose. Among them, I guess vegetables would be a good fit for your preference/situation.
= 1) Do you want some vegetables? ==> less formal offering/suggestion than いかが; or 2) ==> less formal and a bit more pushy than いかが.
