As you suspected, せよ is not a frequent way of expression. It sounds like a line from a Samurai drama or from a wacky fantasy story.

すぐにそれをしなさい / やりなさい。-- e.g. An order from mom/dad to their kid. Gender neutral expression.
すぐにそれをしろ。-- e.g. An order from a kidnapper to the victim’s parents. Mainly used by men.
