  • repeating ～すること (i.e. 見ること、熱のないものになること)

  • その参加 doesn’t make sense because その (the) refers to “the action of watching TV”, not “the fans”.

  • 熱のないもの is unnatural, and doesn’t mean “distant”.

Here is my alternative translation:

テレビ視聴によって、ファンの関わり方（かかわりかた）がより消極的（しょうよくてき）になり、距離感（きょりかん）を生んで（うんで）しまう。
