Which is cheaper, this or that?
I feel something is lost in the translation: I would say:
Which way is cheaper: with this (using this), or with that?
@mike-lima Sorry to say, but the original one is more accurate than yours.
これとあれとでは、どちらが安いのですか？
これとあれ、どちらが安いですか？
These two sentences means exactly the same though the second one sounds a bit more informal.
