まずその辺です。

English Translation

That’s about it.

Is this a set expression?

@ericaw
まずその辺です is an incorrect translation from “that’s about it” in English, and more importantly, the Japanese sentence sounds quite unnatural.

I would suggest you to translate as
まあそんなところだ。
こんなもんかな。or
そんな程度だよ。

まずその辺です can be used only in the following dialogue:
A: Where should I start searching for X?
B: Firstly, I would suggest you to do so from that area.

まず means “firstly”, and その辺 means “around that area/place”.

Thanks so much MsFixer! This is so helpful. Would variations of the examples you gave, such as 「こんなところだ」、「こんなものだ」、or 「こんな程度だ」 also mean approximately the same thing and sound natural?

@ericaw
Yes, all of them sounds natural and are interchangeable without changing the meaning/nuance.
