I know what the [ない] is for, but I don’t know how to break down the verb. Are we looking at [行きたくない] or [行き] [たくない] etc.
iku - go
ikanai - not go
ikitai - want to go
ikitakunai - don’t want to go
It is like a normal negation of an i-adjective (ikitai), i.e. changing i to ku+nai.
If you want to separate it at all, it would rather be ikitaku+nai.
