Both 怒られた and 叱られた work in this context, but 叱られた is better and we say 先生に叱られた quite often.
叱られた exactly means “to be scolded” in order to punish bad behaviors and/or foster disciplines.
怒られた primarily means “to get someone angry”. A teacher gets angry and scolds when he observes his student’s bad conduct. So, 怒られた could also mean “to be scolded”.
