Tom is always hot.
What is that supposed to mean? ‘Hot’ as in attractive?
I could possibly interpret this as Tom always being ready to assert himself, to pick a fight (het as in hetlevrad), but even that is far-fetched.
And hot as in temperature? Like “Tom’s always hot. He likes to set the A/C at -10°C”. Or like “Tom’s always hot, it’s like he’s always having some fever”.
Yes, if that is medically possible. 
BTW, earlier today, I happened to see a blurb about a dating program, about “heta singlar som söker romantik”; now that I went back to look again, they had changed it to “ivriga singlar”.
