This is an historical moment

https://dictionary.cambridge.or…-or-historical

Historical means ‘related to the study of things from the past’: “I love reading historical novels.”

Historic means ‘important or likely to be important in history’: “I feel that this is a historic moment for our country.”

I would say that “This is an historical moment” is something of a truism; every moment is historical, but only a few are historic.

@morbrorper, an excellent English lesson, if I may say so. The “icals” are as important as the “apostrophes” these days.
