It really does an excellent job in “training the ear”. Last night I watched Francesco da Mosto “Art in Venice” and then “Montalbano”, and I was surprised at how much more Italian I understood than a couple of months ago. Reading and Speaking are reasonable so it’s great to bring Listening up to almost the same level. Happy learning all!

That was my experience with French, too. My reading skills weren’t too bad when I started here, but my aural comprehension was terrible. Now it’s almost easier for me to listen than to read, as long as the speaker enunciates clearly and isn’t too fast.

That’s good to hear. Our Giorgio and Carla are fairly easy to hear (I keep them on about 1x speed); our other la-tin lady sometimes seems impossible but suddenly I’m getting her too, so it really does work. Bye, happy listening;-)
