This really is a very helpful addition so belated thanks @Mike & Team. Twice today I’ve wondered “but why?” with the Italian congiuntivo, not to mention the passato remoto, so instead of reaching for my tt, I simply clicked on Explanation and found the answer. Bravo ClozeM.

I use it often. What would also be nice is a sidebar, like the current dictionary sidebar, with links to ChatGPT and similar services that include the prompt and explanation text, so that follow up questions can easily be asked. “What’s a more literal translation?”, “Why does this sentence use X word and not Y?”, “Generate the surrounding dialogue in an exchange that would include this sentence.”

The ChatGPT Explain feature is a great addition. When needed, it thoroughly explains all the grammar. Two thumbs up for Clozemaster…
