Clozemaster uses low quality text-to-speech voices on macOS. (I am on 27.0.1 now but also happened in previous versions). For example, for italian there is a very nice voice in macos, but clozemaster uses a robotic voice. [MacOS has significantly improved the quality of the voices across the supported languages.]

Thanks for posting! For what collection(s)? For Italian we’re using mostly Azure voices which should be quite good. You should also be able to choose system voices in the game settings if you prefer.
hi mike, thanks for your reply. It’s set up correctly on my system. The quality varies a lot from pages to pages on clozemaster. For example under Cloze-reading the quality is very low. I think this is something that needs to be tweaked on your side.
