Obviously
. I’m more surprised by the accusative case, but that’s apparently what’s used with leikata:
lääk. suorittaa leikkaus, operoida; poistaa leikkauksella.
Leikata umpilisäke.Potilas leikattiin kahdesti.
Häneltä leikattiin sappikivet.
The reason I put down that, ahem, fairly obvious piece of information is that it again clashes with the translation which uses a noun. I usually spell that out but must have forgot it in this case.
The sentence construction is weird. It is not the common genitive + täytyy. I read it as something like “Must (somebody) operate on me?” because ‘täytyä’ also takes the 1st infinitive if used with a verb.
It’s the impersonal use of the third person singular, as in “Täytyy olla varovainen kun menee kadun yli” (One has to be careful when one crosses the street).
