Suggesting for type-your-answer mode

I am exclusively using the type your answer mode. Compared the the “pick the word mode” this is much, much more difficult. I have several suggestions on how to improve this feature:

  1. Hint button to display only the first letter of word, in order to help eliminate synonyms. (Yes, i could type “letter” backspace, “letter” backspace, but that is not a good use of my learning time.
  2. Ability to mark answer “wrong” but stay at current review level, rather than going back to 0%. This would allow for minor spelling and word conjugation errors without having to start from scratch.
