Sta entrando?

[details=“English Translation”]Are you going in?[/details] I feel compelled to mention here that the present progressive in English can’t always translate directly into Italian. In English, it can indicate a future event, like “are you going to the party?” In Italian, it pretty much has to be happening right now. If you take this sentence to mean, “Do you intend to go in?” you would ask, “Sta per entrare?” or just “Entra?”
