English Translation
I stayed at an inn since it was late at night and I was tired.
How come it’s un locanda rather than una locanda?

How come it’s un locanda rather than una locanda?
I thought like you, una locanda. At first I wondered if it might be like “un problema” but pretty sure it’s una in this case.
Exactly - the only reason it would have to be un would be if it was masculine like problema right? And it’s certainly not masculine. Maybe un vero Italiano can weigh in?
All language links give it as feminine so I’m happy with una.
I stayed at an inn since it was late at night and I was tired.
I confirm it should be “una”. “Un” it’s a mistake. I’m Italian.
