“verbringen” ist just the idiomatic verb that goes with “Zeit”. Many people nowadays say “eine schöne Zeit haben”, but that’s an anglicism.

I need to start putting the English translation that I’m seeing. I do not believe we see the same ones or you see the one I have changed it too. And that is my fault
