If you mean “vierzehn Tage”, yes it’s a pretty common thing to say instead of “zwei Wochen”, which would also work just fine, but I guess the translator looked for something that matches the “fortnight”.
Okay, sorry, I just didn’t know that fortnight means fourteen days.
