Sie ist sehr aufgeschlossen gegenüber neuen Ideen.

English Translation

She’s very open-minded about new ideas.

“Sie ist sehr aufgeschlossen für neue Ideen” is better as it obviates the nned to use “gegenüber” a German word only understood by native German spekers?

Maybe this works, but I like “gegenüber” better.
If you want to use “für”, then go with “offen” instead of “aufgeschlossen”:

Sie ist sehr offen für neue Ideen.
Ich bin offen für Vorschläge.

The difference between “offen” and “aufgeschlossen” can be seen by the use of “open-minded” instead of just “open” in the english sentence. And, if you look closely, not even the english sentence uses “for”, but “about”…

Think of “gegenüber” as “towards”, “with respect to”, or “regarding”.

I note a couple of typos in my original comment. My eyesight is very poor and the font size when entering comments is so small. Is there a way to increase the font size?

If you use a browser on a PC/Mac, you can press ctrl and +/- to increase/decrease the font size.
If you’re on the mobile app, I don’t know.
