Shouldn’t this be “Sie ist kein Mitglied” (replacing ‘nicht’ with ‘kein’) because the negation is related to a noun?

The sentence was added by the German corpus maintainer of Tatoeba, so I think it is reliable.

Both are perfectly fine in everyday speech but your’s is the more common variant that I’d also preferably use in written language.
