“She accidentally dropped the box” - This is the proper translation

There’s no semantic difference though:
Sie hat die Box aus Versehen fallengelassen
Sie hat die Box versehentlich fallengelassen
She dropped the box by accident
She dropped the box accidentally
They’re all equivalent. You could even change the word order without significantly affecting the meaning:
Aus Versehen hat sie die Box fallengelassen
Versehentlich hat sie die Box fallengelassen
By accident, she dropped the box
Accidentally, she dropped the box
Why insist on one very particular translation when there’s any number that would be acceptable?

Because any number are not acceptable. I am forced to pick one when it could be multiple. I understand you can take the same phrase and change it 20 different ways
However, I don’t feel like nuance is fair on an app that only permits 1 answer (most of the time)
But to be fair, it may be the way I am doing it, as u try to make it as hard as possible. I concede now that I may be using this app outside of its intended scope
For example, I desire the ability to type a full answer, so I play the listening lessons with the volume off and try to translate the English to German like that.
In certain collections this is very effective, in others, it is impossible due to the translations being completely off.
But, like in English we are usually precise in the words we use and the two sentences may have the same meaning, or may mean the same thing, or may possess the same meaning, etc, they are not the same and use different words to convey a thing.
But if you are learning a language and don’t have a native level mastery, if you read that translation, you may learn that that is the literal translation, when it is not.
