The Duden is wrong. It doesn’t have to be printed.
“Anweisung” simply means instruction or order. It can (in both meanings) also be used as a verb: “jemanden anweisen”.
- to guide someone through how it’s done
- to tell/“order” someone to do something
Example:
- On New Year’s Eve, the father told his child to not let the cat out.
- An Silvester wies der Vater sein Kind an, die Katze nicht heraus zu lassen.
