Is there any difference between assieme and insieme?
I do not know of a difference.
I this special case I suspect that Italians would perfer “assieme” over “insieme” because of the preceding “belli”, but I would like to hear a native speaker on that.
Anyway, “insieme”/“assieme” is one of the cases were I routinely use the “other valid answers” function for clozes.
