english word valley for valle , not vale

vale is merely a poetic term for “valley” in English, so the meaning is the same.
Sorry but not sure about that. “Vale of tears” is a Christian term to express the tribulations of life, nothing to do with a “a valley”. At least that’s how we were taught. Praps different in USA.
True, that is the poetic/biblical expression, but “vale” means a valley.
