May I hold your hand?
Pedantic grammar question: where does ‘sinua kädestä’ come from? The sentence literally means ‘Can I take your hand’ and with ‘ottaa’ there is no verb rection for the object. So why not ‘Saanko otta sinun käden’?
Think of it as “May I take you by the hand?”

I seem to remember that there are two different ways of saying ‘have you ever broken your arm?’, and one of them is something like ‘has an arm ever broken from you?’. I suspect this is a case that uses a similar construction.
