I rest my case.

Is this another literal translation of an English phrase that wouldn’t really be said this way in Italian? The English phrase is really only used in courtrooms or to submit an argument to an arbiter. Isn’t “riposare” more about sleep and would an an argument or defense be called a “caso” in Italian?
