I think te lo when using tu and glielo for formal Lei.
The only thing I wonder is if it should be te la and gliela when referring to la verità. I always struggle with that bit.

I asked our wonderful Italian madrelingua (on another forum) and here’s his reply, which clears it up nicely.
Noi italiani non ci poniamo il problema perchè diciamo e scriviamo “te l’assicuro” con l’apostrofo. Quindi potrebbe essere sia te lo, che te la. Però hai ragione, dovrebbe essere “la” perchè sia la verità sia questa sono al femminile. Ma “la assicuro” diventa automaticamente “l’assicuro”, per evitare le due “a” eufoniche (cioè con lo stesso suono).
