I am a bit confused by the omission of the definite article here. If one were to add it, would that mean more like “that’s art!” in a positive way?

I have the same question.
Furthermore, how can the emphasis of “quite” be translated to Italian?
“Veramente” perhaps? Or “proprio”?
That’s art! or That’s really art! “Quella è davvero arte!” or
do you mean “quite” as in “That’s quite good” - “È abbastanza buono” or “veramente buono” in this sentence about art?
Look forward to hearing what others say… Ciao!

The translation given was " That is quite an art".
So thank you very much. I really think the “quite” is emphasis here, so “davvero” was exactly what I was looking for.
