Can somebody explain the “we” preposition in this sentence please?
“We” is just another form of “w”. It is used when followed by a word that starts with a consonant cluster – such as “mnie” here – and its purpose is making the clusters easier to pronounce.
That’s also why we say:
- we wtorek (not: w wtorek)
- we mgle (not: w mgle)
- we Francji (not: w Francji)
