Doesn’t bourse mean purse rather than just a bag?
English Translation
Where’s my bag?
Bag is synonym for purse, at least here in the Midwest US.
In French, “bourse” can have different meanings, depending on context.
A while ago, as in a few centuries ago I guess, it was used to describe a small bag in which one would put money or coins. This is old-fashioned and I don’t think anyone uses the word “bourse” with that meaning anymore.
Today, “portefeuille”, “porte-monnaie” or “sac à main” are used instead.
