‘Odotan’ is stronger than ‘I am looking into…’. It is more like ‘I expect to get one’.
Actually, “I’m looking into” means “I’m thinking of”, “I’m planning to”, doesn’t it?
Hmm, I am not sure. I would say ‘planning to’ is stronger than ‘looking into’ and ‘thinking of’ but my opinion is based on Wiktionary’s translation of ‘odottaa’ as ‘expect’ or ‘anticipate’. In almost all the cases I have come across ‘odottaa’ means to ‘wait’ (odotan bussia) which is a different interpretation.
