Interestingly, Larousse doesn’t give a definition for se porter when talking about a person. It only gives these examples.
Le Robert has this definition:

se porter bien/mal = to be well/unwell •
se porter comme un charme= to be fighting fit •
et je ne m’en suis pas plus mal porté = and I was no worse off for it
So that give me a sense how se porter is used when referring to a person being well/unwell
