this is a bit of a nitpick, but i think that “faire machine arrière” specifically means to put a vehicle in reverse (gear). to move straight back, as opposed to turning around, and by extension to renounce a plan or design. so i get that the general idea of moving in the opposite direction is conveyed in this exercise as-is, but to be precise i think one should try to use this formulation when describing a reversal without turning, contrary to the english text to be translated here.
