Yes, well, “nessuna” implies that the topic has a feminine gender.
So you may refer to two women, or two houses (“case”, feminine gender), for example.
This is probably a translation from English to Italian, and “nessuna” does not imply that the choice is between two things only.
If you want ot be more precise, you can say “nè l’una nè l’altra” or “nessuna delle due”.
