Non mi insultare.

English Translation

Don’t insult me.

We just did “mi sentivo schiacciare” . “Non mi insulti” and “non insultarmi” are other translations. I guess I have to pick my preferred translations but keep in mind that “insultare” is also ok?

I’m not sure what you mean by “I have to pick my preferred translations.”

For the imperative tense, negative tu forms are composed of non + infinitive. Either “Non insultarmi” or “Non mi insultare” can be used. There might be a slight difference in meaning.

Translation from the English sentence “(You) Don’t insult me” to Italian is more complicated since it’s not clear whether “you” refers to second person singular (you informal), third person singular (you formal), or second person plural.
