Non essere un inetto!

English Translation

Don’t be a wuss!

I have to ask the English natives: Is that correct?
I would have translated “inetto” with “bungler” or “klutz” whereas “wuss” is more a “vigliaccio”.

That doesn’t look like a good translation.

Your suggestions seem better aligned with what’s written for inetto on the webpage at Treccani.

I note that the author (Guybrush88) of the Italian sentence on Tatoeba also submitted a translation as Non essere un pappamolle! which seems to be a much better translation of the English sentence.
