Non dovete cambiare.

English Translation

You don’t have to change.

In Englsih you can use that sentence in various circumstances:
… e.g. your attitude
… your clothing.
Is it the same in Italian?

(In German one would use different verbs.)

Revesro context suggests that cambiarsi has to do with changing clothing. Cambiare means you change everything else: attitude, trains, life, perception, way of thinking, behavior and so on. Cambiarsi is a reflexive verb. “Si” in it is a reflective pronoun and is translated as “to self” or “to oneself”. So, in my opinion, there is no change of clothing in this particular sentence. Your question reminded me to check the chapter on reflexive verbs in my grammar textbook. Thank you.

Very helpful answer. I totally forgot the reflexive option!
