Question, please. The Clozemaster translation for this sentence is ‘‘I shouldn’t have run that red light.’’ I’ve looked a few on-line dictionaries and none of them suggest that one of the meanings for ‘‘włączyć’’ is to run/drive through a red (traffic) light. Can the Polish sentence mean this? Thanks!
This looks like a mistranslation. The original sentence must have been the English one, and someone has incorrectly interpreted the English idiom “run a red light” as “turn on a red light”.
You can report it if you see it next time.
In Polish, “to run a red light” is “przejechać na czerwonym świetle” (lit. “to drive on/through a red light”).
