Nie miej mi za złe, Tom.

Miej = imperative form of ‘mieć’

“Nie miej mi (tego) za złe” is an idiomatic expression which can be translated as “Don’t hate me for it,” or I guess also, as in this case, “Don’t blame me (for it).” Though this is perhaps a loose, inexact translation.

I first came across it in a verse by rapper Ero in “Bez Cenzury”: “Nie miej mi tego za złe, po prostu mówię prawdę.” (“Don’t blame/hate/get angry at me for it, I’m just speaking the truth.”)
