Any updates on the new Arabic, Polish, and Norwegian fast track? They’ve been on finished and soon for a few months now. Really looking forward to starting on Arabic ![]()
Registering interest in Finnish being updated too!
Also, Yoruba being added, at all ![]()
I note on the tracker that Brazilian Portuguese is shown as complete, whereas European Portuguese is about 30% done. Does this mean that I can be confident the sentences (and clozemaster audio?) in the Fast Track Portuguese that is currently available now is BP? Presumably, when EP fast track is complete, there will be some UI available to switch between these two?
Thanks!
Got the email update and saw that Fast Track 2 and 3 were live for Catalan - I didn’t even know that Fast Track 1 was live!!! It’s not listed on the top of this topic, unless I missed it.
I hope there are plans to finish this all the way to Fast Track 10, but I’m so glad to have these 3 to get going with! I have liked the Fast Tracks far better than the mixed collection that was there for Catalan before.
Glad the Fast Track 1-3 for Catalan is up, but there are a lot of mistakes. Seems like some machine translation-type errors. I’ve reported the ones that I have found for sure, but someone who is fully proficient should go over these carefully to get them all fixed.
Interesting. I’m about 850 sentences through Fast Track 1 for Catalan and I’ve reported 12 sentences so far. Would you say the quality gets worse as you get to 2 and 3? Are they wrong translations or just bad Catalan?
I would say the quality gets slightly worse. Some are wrong translations - in many cases just straight-up Spanish words. More often it is a verb in the past tense that simply isn’t conjugated. Only the infinitive is there, probably should be like, “ell va parlar” instead of “ell parlar”, stuff like that. There are also many sentences with no capitalization for the first word.
My Catalan is pretty good, but not good enough that I am confident that I am catching every error.
Hi! Are you planning on adding Hebrew anytime soon in the New Fasttrack? ![]()
