  • The Eng CM translation here = ‘‘What are you concerned about?’’
  • Can the verb ‘‘zastanawiać się’’ express concern? I’ve only hitherto encountered it in the context of to wonder/contemplate/ponder/deliberate something. I’ve not seen it used in a more negative context so far e.g. in a situation that may cause concern/worry. Thanks!

Agreed, the translation seems incorrect.

“Zastanawiać się” means “to ponder”, a better translation for “be concerned about” would be “martwić się” or “przejmować się” (so: “Czym się martwisz/przejmujesz?”).
