I burnt my hand while pouring hot water.
Would this be “Mi sono scottata la mano” for a female speaker?

I would instinctively say “scottata”. I always find the mi sono’s tricky so am happy to be corrected. “I realised” is my worst but have been told “mi sono resa conto” is correct.

Hi @Floria7, I suspected as much, judging from other, similar phrases. In French I would expect the participle to be unchanged though, since it’s the indirect object.
