Couldn’t this sentence be - Mi aiuterebbe, per favore, a tradurre questa? OR Mi aiuteresti, per favore, a tradurre questa? If so, it only accepts aiuterebbe as an option.

Thanks for reaching out! Mi aiuterebbe is formal. You would say to your teacher for example “mi aiuterebbe” as opposed to “mi aiuteresti” which can be used with a friend.
