I think this is supposed to be spoken language (puhekieli). But maybe “Mee” would be more phonetic?

I don’t think anyone would write it as “me” even though someone could say it like that in some dialects or when speaking fast.
That’s the problem with writing puhekieltä: there is no written standard.
