This sentence is a good example of how different the Finnish syntax is, compared to Romance and Germanic languages.
German can use both the english and the finnish logic:
Das Kind warf einen Stein auf die Katze.
Das Kind bewarf die Katze mit einem Stein.
But finnish too can turn the logic around:
Lapsi heitti kiven kissaan.
