Should this be “gjøre” instead of “gjort”? The grammar seems off. Or is it acceptable to a native speaker?

No, looks like this is grammatically correct. Remember that the verb “ha” is often dropped before the past participle. So you could also write “kunne du ha gjort meg en tjeneste?” This doesn’t translate literally into English. “Could you have done me a favor?” would be a weird sentence, and it doesn’t mean the same thing. But in Norwegian, using the perfect aspect (with the past participle) is just a polite way of asking “Could you do me a favor?”
