I finally got a job.
The “la” ending on dobila implies a female speaker, yet the speaker is male. I’ve noticed quite a few situations where the gender used in the words does not match the speaker (Croatian language course)
“Puno sam se smijala”
Same issue with this sentence, it’s using a male voice. For male it would be “smijao” not “smijala”.
“Skrenuo sam desno.”
This one is spoken by a female voice, but “Skrenuo” is past perfect for male first person.
