Actually, I think the indicative should be used here. Compare these two sentences:
J’espère vraiment que vous avez raison. → Indicative
Je souhaite vraiment que vous ayez raison. → Subjonctive
tldr: In declarative sentences, “espérer que” is typically followed by the indicative.
