I started a new blog. I’ll do my best to keep it going.
Bloc-notes isn’t really blog, it is more a physical notebook, isn’t it? Has anybody heard bloc-notes used to mean blog? Thanks.

That’s pretty much how I think about it…
Not until I read @morbrorper’s post I hadn’t ! 
I have to say that I have never heard anyone use “bloc-notes” to refer to a blog.
Also:
Apparently, “blog” can also be spelled “blogue” in French…
