I suspect it’s a mistake, as I believe the two forms are pronounced the same.

nearly the same pronunciation, but when enunciated correctly the “i” can be heard. although i think that often in normal, casual speech, “voyez” and “voyiez” are effectively indistinguishable, as is sometimes the case (depending on who is speaking) with “or” and “are”, “for” and “far”, “then” and “than”. regional accent and cadence can often lead to a phonetic confusion
